For those of you savvy enough to download files using BitTorrent I have compiled a list of torrents I recently downloaded that you might enjoy.
Nazi Pop Twins: Yes it’s as good as it sounds. This is a BBC documentary about America’s adorable white nationalist pop twins Prussian Blue. Lynx & Lamb have grown up and like all teenage girls are like totally over the whole race thing. Kinda. I blame their mother and you will too.
Assume The Position: Robert Wuhl, of Arli$$ fame, teaches a class about the fabricated stories we were taught as historical truth. Very funny and extremely informative. I really wish we dispensed with all our jingoistic nonsense and learned history the way Robert Wuhl teaches it. Truth is much more interesting than fiction. By the way the torrent is for his first show. He has a new one airing this Friday on HBO.
There has been a rash of pre-air leaks that has the torrent community. TorrentFreak has an article about it, wondering if the releases of all these shows is not part of a PR campaign to build buzz for the show.
Weeds: Possibly one of the best written shows ever. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and rent the first season. Episodes 2 & 3 have also been released prior to the August 13th.
Dexter: If you liked American Psycho, you’ll love Dexter. Like Weeds, if you haven’t seen it, watch the first season. Episode 2.This is another one of those pre-air leak shows. I think it is a PR push because Showtime hasn’t said one negative word about their shows hitting “teh” interwebs before their premiers.
There are some shows that I haven’t seen but have been released. Pushing Daisies-Torrent, Reaper-Torrent, & Chuck-Torrent all seem promising.
